Afternoon Tea | Bouchée Patisserie

🌟🌟Explored a French pastry shop, located in uptown Houston, on the first floor of the Post Oak Hotel. There were not many people on Sunday afternoon, and it was relatively quiet. The environment is exquisite, and there is a pretty rich variety of desserts with reasonable prices. It's a great place to spend a sunny weekend afternoon. 🌟🌟I ordered Pomme d'Or and Chocolate Royale. The former's name should be based on its appearance; it looks like a shiny golden apple, and it has a very rich layer inside. We tasted ginger and apple puree and an unknown sweet and sour layer (I'm sorry I couldn't figure it out), which is quite distinctive! The latter has a hazelnut and dark chocolate flavor, which is also quite good, but not as unique as the former. The black tea I ordered was a bit bitter, but they gave a whole small bottle of honey, which was very comfortable to match. 🌟🌟The only downside is that it's a bit difficult to park. It's recommended to park in an indoor public parking lot next to the hotel, and it's also very convenient to walk here in 2 minutes. The name sounds very French. If the first store is a dessert shop that can be seen everywhere on the streets of Paris, then this one is similar to Parisian rêve, Pierre Hermé, which is an exquisitely decorated, slightly dressed-up boutique dessert shop. It's a place where you can have afternoon tea in Houston. The taste is also ok. The raspberry Danish is what I think is a must-eat at this store, and I always want to buy it when I pass by. #Houston #HoustonAfternoonTea #HoustonDessert #FrenchDessert #Dessert #AfternoonTea
