Alaska Cruise Journey: Juneau 🚢🏔️

Juneau is the capital of Alaska, with a population of just over 30,000. Popular attractions in Juneau include the Mendenhall Glacier, Mount Roberts Tramway and its summit park, whale watching boat tours, and scenic flights. Since we were scheduled to visit Tracy Arm Glacier later during the trip, we decided to skip the Mendenhall Glacier this time. Whale watching is also available in many coastal cities like Vancouver and Victoria in Canada, so due to limited time, we focused on exploring the Mount Roberts Tramway and its summit park, as well as strolling through downtown Juneau.😁 The Mount Roberts Tramway and summit park (official website: http://mountrobertstramway.com/) offer adult tickets for $34, with half-price tickets for children. From the mountaintop, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Juneau, and the summit itself is a beautiful park—making the trip well worth it! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side that day, and it rained throughout our visit. 🌧️ The downtown bus hub is also the starting point for public transportation to the Mendenhall Glacier if you prefer to travel by bus.
