Alaska Cruise Travel – Juneau Guide 🚢🏔️

On our round-trip Princess Alaska cruise from Seattle, the first stop was the small town of Juneau. Basically, the entire town’s economy relies on cruise tourism 😅. The town is super small—if you don’t book any shore activities, it might feel a bit boring. 🚁 We chose a helicopter glacier walking tour—highly recommended! 👍🏻 It was definitely the highlight of the entire trip (if you only wait until day four for Glacier Bay National Park, it might feel a bit underwhelming). The helicopter ride was an unparalleled experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking and something a camera simply can’t capture. We opted for the helicopter + guided walk (the 2+ hour tour). Honestly, the time spent on the glacier felt quite short—we didn’t walk for very long. If you want a longer glacier hike, you should choose the hiking tour... (but we were afraid it’d be too exhausting 😅). 🦀 Another highlight in Juneau is eating at the famous Tracy’s King Crab Shack—so delicious and totally worth it! The red king crab is even tastier than the golden king crab, though the price isn’t that much cheaper. Still, it’s a must-try! 👍🏻 ‼️ Since each helicopter can only seat up to 5 people, tours get fully booked very quickly! Make sure to reserve in advance. Otherwise, you might have to join another popular activity—whale watching! 🐋 #SeattleDaily #SeattleLife #Alaska #AlaskaCruise #AlaskaAdventure #AlaskaTravel #AlaskaTourism #Seattle #Cruise #CruiseTravel ✈️🌊🧊
