Alaska Travel Guide | Anchorage King Crab Feast! π¦
Hereβs a roundup of delicious restaurants in Anchorage: 1. Glacier Brewhouse π½οΈ A nice atmosphere β reservations are recommended. Reviews are mixed on social media β some find dishes too salty, others too bland. The chef seems inconsistent! Many say the king crab isnβt worth it, but as a tourist, even if you buy cheaper crab at Costco, you still need a restaurant to cook it! We took a chance and were pleasantly surprised! Must-tries β : King Crab Legs: Fresh, meaty, and delicious even on its own! Calamari: Thick-cut, lightly battered β very generous portions. Earl Grey Palmer: Refreshing honey-lemon tea! π―π Blackberry Basil Lemonade: Also great! Skip β: Chowder: A bit too salty. Cream Soda: Overly sweet. Ribeye: Good but not amazing. 2. Mooseβs Tooth Pub & Pizzeria π Probably the most popular spot β avoid evenings! Lunch usually has no wait. Pizza isnβt mind-blowing, but itβs tasty and affordable. Highlights π: Call of the Wild (daily special slice): Incredible β one of the best pizzas Iβve ever had! Crispy crust, perfect flavor. Korean BBQ Chicken Wings: Tasty! Moose Pie Dessert: Coffee ice cream + caramel cookie base + nuts β not too sweet! I ate half by myself! π Meh π: Elf on the Shelf & Santas Pizza: Just average. Hungarian Mushroom & Italian Wedding Soup: Forgettable. Drink πΊ: Can Na Golden (non-alcoholic beer): Not too bitter β nice! 3. Gia Dinh Pho π The pho is good, but other dishes are just okay β a bit pricey. Order β : Pho Combo: Soul-warming broth! β€οΈ Thai Tea: Not too sweet β delicious! Egg Rolls: Crispy and tasty. Skip β: Stir Fried Beef (accidental order β meant to get Grilled Beef π’) Fried Chicken & Fries: A bit bland. 4. Wild Scoops π¦ An iconic ice cream shop β must visit! Order β : Stika Swirl + Baked Alaska β So good! Skip β: Matcha Berry Swirl β Not the best. #AlaskaTravel #AnchorageFood #KingCrab #FoodieGuide #TravelAlaska π¦ποΈπ΄
