Amazing Chinese Food in Anchorage

Praise the food god—and the chef! 🙏 This Chinese + Japanese restaurant in Anchorage, Alaska is so delicious, and the prices are unbeatable! It was so good that we went back for a second meal right after the first one 😋! I originally expected it to be just “decent” Chinese food, but the wok hei (that smoky, charred flavor from stir-frying) was off the charts 🔥! The sashimi came in huge portions, and the prices were incredibly reasonable—total value for money 🥢! The waitstaff was also super nice; they even helped us brew the tea we brought with us 🫖. For our first meal, we went with classic Chinese dishes: the cumin beef and stir-fried green beans with minced pork were absolutely authentic—every bite tasted like home 🍖🥬! As we were leaving, we saw the table next to us order a giant Love Boat platter (a huge assortment of sushi and sashimi). We couldn’t resist, so we came back later for a second round 🚢! The Love Boat in the picture was only $90! The sashimi was thick, fresh, and so satisfying—every bite felt like a little celebration 🥳! The fried shrimp in the sushi was just okay, but honestly? Who cares when everything else was this good! We also tried the king crab with green onions and ginger, plus stir-fried cabbage with chili.
