This weekend, my friends and I visited Ye’s Seafood Restaurant in Ellicott City – and wow, it totally blew us away! 😍 Every dish was flavorful, authentic, and felt like it was made just for those who love Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai style cuisine. The portions were huge, and the taste was on point. Crab with Ginger and Scallion 🦀 – Super aromatic, not overly greasy, and the crab was meaty! Braised Pork Belly (Hong Shao Rou) 🐖 – Melty, savory-sweet, and seriously satisfying. Stir-Fried Rice Cakes (Nian Gao) 🍲 – Chewy, well-seasoned, and filled with veggies and protein. Scallion Oil Noodles 🍜 – Simple but incredibly fragrant and comforting. 🎯 Verdict: This place is LEGIT. If you’re tired of Americanized Chinese food and craving something that tastes like home – Ye’s Seafood is worth the drive 🚗💨. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and everything felt… honestly, kind of perfect? The only downside? It’s not right in Baltimore – but honestly? Still worth it.
