American-Style Park Picnic
First weekend picnic in the States, we headed to Trout Greek Park. Not all parks allow open flames or BBQ, but this park is one of the few exceptions. It’s free, car accessible, and even has a designated area with grills for BBQ, plus a huge slide for kids. It’s just perfect! 🌳🔥🎢 However, we had a little accident. Our drone got stuck in a tree over 10 meters high. The dense foliage blocked our view, and after much effort, we were still empty-handed until the low-battery flash finally revealed its location. Then, the challenge was how to retrieve it. Climbing the tree was out of the question, and we couldn’t find a pole long enough. 🌳🚁😓 After dozens of attempts to throw branches, we realized hitting the target at that height is like winning the lottery. It was still early, so we rushed to a sports store to buy a bow and a roll of fishing line. After dozens of practice shots under the tree, we finally managed to hook the branch with an arrow and shake the drone loose by pulling on the fishing line. 🏹🎣 Losing and regaining it, it felt like we found two thousand dollars today, and we got a workout for our arms. A day full of gains! 💪💰 #picnicsandcamping #idealcampingspot
