First and foremost, everything begins with an outstanding chef. This restaurant combines the menu design of star chef Scott Conant with the creative talent of Jason Kohl, adding the perfect finishing touches to an already impressive offering. They boast excellent servers and a level of warm, attentive service that’s not always common in upscale dining. What’s more, they have a strong and dedicated culinary team behind the scenes. As an officer of the prestigious wine and food organization Châine des Rôtisseurs, I consider myself a fairly objective judge when it comes to distinguishing great restaurants — and Americano truly stands out. They skillfully prepared a dinner for 50 of our members, delivering an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Last year, I also attended a wine dinner hosted by Antinori here, which was equally impressive. 🍷 Katie Brillinger, their sommelier, is working on building a robust Italian wine program that will perfectly complement the Italian-focused menu.
