An Amazing Hiking Trail in West LA

LOS LEONES CANYON Los Leones Trail to Parker Mesa Overlook in the Santa Monica Mountains 🅿️ Free and plentiful parking! You can also park along both sides of the road 🚗💨 ⛰️ The trail offers stunning, wide-open views throughout—you can see the ocean, mountains, and the city all in one go! 🌊🏞️🌆 The first part of the trail is a bit narrow and covered with loose gravel. There’s also quite a bit of dust, especially after recent wildfires. 😅🌫️ The second half of the trail opens up into a wide, winding path that loops around the mountains—so scenic and peaceful! 🌀🏔️ ☀️ Don’t forget your sunscreen and a hat! The sun can be pretty strong up there. 🧴👒 ⏰ From the parking area to Parker Mesa Overlook and back, it’s about 7 miles round trip.
