An Italian Beef Festival is Happening in Chicagoland This Month

There’s perhaps no other food more quintessential to Chicago than Italian Beef— and this month a there’s a full-on festival celebrating our city’s signature sandwich. Italian Beef Fest 2025 ---------------------- Italian Beef Fest 2025 is going down at Double Play Saloon in suburban Blue Island on Saturday, November 29. The celebration will feature an all-you-can-eat selection from some of Chicago’s best sandwich shops. Attendees will get to mix and match with ingredients from all their favorite local joints. The official 2025 lineup is still in the works but previous participants have included the likes of Portillo’s, Johnnie’s, Scatchell’s, Carm’s and more. In addition to a slew of beef options, guests will enjoy a selection of sides and a toppings station stocked with hot peppers and giardiniera.
