An Ordinary Italian Restaurant with Exceptional Seared Scallops!

I recently visited an Italian restaurant in Buckhead Village called Antica Posta Tuscan Restaurant & Bar + Wine Shop, located at 519 East Paces Ferry Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305. They only serve dinner, opening at 5 p.m. 🅿️ Parking: The restaurant only offers valet parking. However, we prefer not to hand over our car to others (since we had a bad experience with valet parking before, where our car was taken out without permission). So, we parked ourselves and gave the valet attendant a small tip. 💐 Ambiance: It’s a typical mid-range Italian restaurant environment—nothing extraordinary, but nothing bad either. 🥖 Pre-Dinner Bread: As usual, we started with a basket of bread. The bread here was a bit hard, which I didn’t particularly like. Rating: 6/10. Appetizer: 🦑 Octopus Legs — The octopus was perfectly tender, and the pairing with sesame leaves was very Italian. Rating: 9/10. Main Course: 🦀 Crab Meat and Scallops Pasta — The crab meat was generous, and the scallops were seared to perfection. They were aromatic on the outside and juicy inside. Rating: 8/10. Scallop Risotto: 🦆 The scallops were equally perfect and seemed to be a strong point of the restaurant. However, the risotto was a bit too firm and could have been cooked a bit longer. Rating: 7/10. #AtlantaItalianRestaurant #WhatToEatInAtlanta #DeliciousFoodInAtlanta
