An Unforgettable Trip to OKC

This trip to Oklahoma City was so memorable—I’ll never forget it! 1. The Reason for the Trip: Chasing J2! Ever since I went to the MN convention, I’ve been obsessed with seeing J2 again 😊. I would’ve gone to the NJ show in May, but I had finals—total bummer! But once exams were over, I wasted no time buying tickets to OKC and rushed over to meet Jensen and Jared 🥰. Nothing was gonna stop me! 2. What I Bought for the Con (1) A General Admission Weekend Package: By the time I bought tickets, most of the Golden packages were sold out—only super off-center front-row seats were left, which weren’t worth it. The GA package still let me enjoy all the main fun! (2) Individual Meet & Greets with Jensen and Jared: I also got two photos with Jared (“the dog”) and one group photo with both Jensen (“the cat”) and Jared. Sadly, Jensen’s solo photos were already sold out by then—he’s just that popular (my heartthrob cat is way too in-demand lol) 🐱🐶. 3. The Best Parts: Worth Every Penny! I was so happy—I could cry! 😭 The auctioned greeting session was 100% worth it—if I wasn’t bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), I’d spam everyone with details 🥹. Then, luck hit me during Jensen’s Q&A: I was the last one to get a ticket, and it turned out to be one of the best seats! Jensen was less than 1.5 meters in front of me for 30 minutes. When I saw his perfect nose, I couldn’t stop grinning like an idiot—seriously, self, get it together 🤦‍♀️! He’s so handsome! I also noticed he’d glance down at the floor when thinking—low-key felt like he was staring at our shoes… close enough to “eye contact” for me, hhh 🥹. Jared’s Q&A was fun too! Since it was my first time at a con, I was a new face—so they probably noticed me. I got to ask questions in both of their sessions, and I kept thinking, “This money was so well-spent!” 😇 I drew a little stick-figure reference for my question—I was nervous about whether they’d get it, but they understood instantly! So smart, my boys. 4. My Highlight: Getting Called on at the Main Panel! I had zero hope of being picked to ask a question—last time at MN, I didn’t get lucky. But this time? I was chosen! 🎉 I asked them about GPS voice packs (if you’re curious, check for reposts—everyone at the venue reacted so excitedly!). I even said “Love you guys” at the end, and Jared said “Love you” back—I was so happy I could’ve fainted 😭😭. Total dream come true! 5. The Drama: Flat Tires (Ugh!) The trip had its chaos—OKC’s roads are terrible! I drove 1,000 km to get there, and both rear tires got punctured by nails. Worse, the holes were in spots where you can’t patch—only replace. That added a ton to my expenses, and I was so upset I almost didn’t feel like going to the con. But thank goodness the con experience was amazing—it totally made up for the tire disaster. 6. A Cute Little Moment: The “Dog” Photo Guy There were three Jared-themed photos (my “dogs”) 🐶. Usually, staff leave photos on a table for people to grab themselves, but the guy working noticed my photos were special—he remembered me, saw me standing in the lobby, and brought them right to me!
