Anchorage, Alaska: A Chill Food & Drink Guide 🍽️❄️

During my days in Anchorage, I didn’t plan much in advance but still managed to try some highly recommended spots — surprisingly with almost no waiting! 😄 I was also impressed by how delicious everything was. Almost no disappointments! 💗 ☕️ Snow City Cafe 🌟🌟🌟 Located downtown — join the waitlist on Yelp in advance, or you’ll face a long line! Ordered the King Crab Benedict and elk meat scrambled eggs. Not mind-blowing, but decent. The Benedict was a bit dry, and the crab cake wasn’t exceptionally fresh. The decor was cute though! 🦀🍳 🍴 Seven Glaciers 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 In Girdwood — about a 40-minute drive from Anchorage. The restaurant is at the top of a ski resort 🏔️ — you take a scenic tram up! Recommend arriving early to hike around nearby. The views from the top are breathtaking — perfect for photos. The food is a 6-course fine dining experience. While the dishes were good, it’s really the atmosphere and views that make it special. Definitely worth a visit! ❤️ 🍻 Glacier Brewhouse 🌟🌟🌟🌟 A crowd favorite! Didn’t have a reservation, but got seats at the bar with no wait. If you want a table without a reservation, expect to wait 1-2 hours. We weren’t super hungry, so we ordered the Appetizer Tower with shrimp, calamari, and salmon dip — SO delicious and impressive! No wonder it’s always packed! 🍤🦑 🍕 Moose’s Tooth Pub and Pizzeria 🌟🌟🌟 Supposedly one of the top 3 pizzerias in the US (not sure who ranked it though 😆). Arrived around 5 PM and waited only 10 minutes — super lucky! Tried the Amazing Apricot and Santa’s Little Helper pizzas. Did not expect carrots on my pizza 🤣, but it was tasty and generous. Would I wait an hour for it? Probably not. Its popularity probably comes from the wild variety of flavors! 🍦 Wild Scoops A handmade ice cream shop within walking distance from Moose’s Tooth. Highly recommend!
