Anchorage Food Guide | Reindeer Sausage Pizza & King Crab Legs ๐๐ฆ
1๏ธโฃ Simon & Seafort's Saloon & Grill ๐ A seaside restaurant that looks like an office building โ though the ocean was frozen this season, the sunset views were still romantic! โ๏ธ๐ ๐ก Tip: If you go for lunch but want seafood, ask for the dinner menu! King Crab Legs: Sweet, fresh, and not fishy at all โ delicious with melted butter! ๐งโจ Grilled Halibut: Pretty standard compared to Glacier Brewhouse โ served with fragrant rice and veggies. Not a must-try. Crispy Calamari: Tender and flavorful with two dipping sauces โ a great appetizer! ๐ฆ 2๏ธโฃ Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria ๐๐บ๐ธ Rumored to be one of the top 3 pizzerias in the US! With over 30 pizza options + create-your-own choices. Crust options: thin, thick, cauliflower, or vegan whole wheat. They also have a limited-time menu that changes every two weeks! We tried 4 flavors in a half-and-half combo: El Diablo Loco (Limited edition): Spicy Mexican fried chicken pizza ๐ถ๏ธ๐ Call of the Wild: Reindeer sausage (no weird taste!), beef, bacon, mushrooms, peppers + garlic cream sauce ๐ฆ Avalanche: Chicken, bacon, pepperoni + BBQ sauce ๐ฅ Chipotle Steak: Raw onions, tomatoes, cilantro, lime + steak โ tastes like a taco! ๐ฎ๐ Also ordered: Korean sweet & spicy wings ๐ Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad ๐ฅ Arctic Apple Ale ๐บ: Strong fruity & malty aroma โ highly recommended! ๐ Weekend tip: Make a reservation via OpenTable โ even during off-peak hours! #AnchorageEats #AlaskaFood #KingCrab #PizzaLovers #CraftBeer #FoodieAdventure ๐๏ธ๐ป
