Anchorage Restaurant | Cozy Dining in a Snowy Night
We landed in Anchorage in the evening and, from our guide’s list, picked 49th State Brewing based on Yelp ratings. Though reviews on were mixed, we personally loved every dish❄️! With heavy snow falling outside and warm lights inside, the atmosphere was absolutely magical✨~ 🍽️ What We Tried 1️⃣ Starter: Crab Artichoke Dip Rich garlic butter and melted cheese🧀 paired with soft pita bread, filled with generous strands of crab meat🦀 — flavorful but not overwhelming. A must-order! 2️⃣ Soup: Alaska Seafood Chowder A hearty and creamy chowder🥣 loaded with salmon, halibut, and clams. Perfectly balanced — warm and comforting after a cold day. 3️⃣ Main: King Crab Legs Platter Fresh, sweet crab legs🍬 steamed to perfection — so flavorful they didn’t even need butter! Easily pulled out in whole pieces for a truly satisfying bite😋. 4️⃣ Drinks: Catch a Flight Beer Sampler Famous for house-brewed beers🍻, this sampler includes four different styles. The grape-infused one was refreshing and paired well with seafood! 📌 Tips Choose the downtown location — fellow travelers said the airport spot isn’t as good Window seats offer great views, especially when it’s snowing❄️ Portions are generous; one starter + soup + main can easily be shared by two #Alaska #AnchorageEats #49StateBrewing #SeafoodRestaurant #SnowyDinner #TravelFoodDiary #AnchorageFoodTour
