Anchorage Restaurant Guide: Hits & Misses π½οΈβ β
π Jimmy's Asian Food I had low expectations, thinking it would be Americanized Chinese food β but it turned out to be authentic and delicious! ππ Shredded Potato with Vinegar: Wok-fried to perfection with that classic smoky aroma β the chef knows what theyβre doing! πππππ Sashimi: Thick-cut, fresh, and sweet β unbelievable value! We had salmon and tuna belly β zero fishy smell. Must-try! ππͺ West Lake Beef Soup: Light, comforting, with tofu, egg, and cilantro β not overly seasoned. I had two bowls even after being full! π₯£β€οΈ Mala Xiang Guo: Spicy but needed more salt πΆοΈπππ Mango Sticky Rice: Made with green mango β refreshing and tasty! π₯ππππ π Yakitori Sushi House π¦ͺ Their oysters are huge, cheap, and super fresh and sweet! A classic β highly recommended! "Chinese donβt lie to Chinese β go try it!" ππ (Note: Oysters in Fairbanks didnβt compare!) π Simon & Seafortβs π Great views, but overhyped. The famous dishes mentioned on social media were gone. Food was just okay β standard American fare youβd find in LA. πππ π Mooseβs Tooth Pub & Pizzeria π Beef Pizza: The only one that suited my taste β juicy and flavorful! ππ₯ Reindeer Sausage Pizza: A bit gamey for me, but guys might like it! π¦π€·βοΈ #AnchorageEats #AnchorageChineseFood #AnchoragePizza #FoodReview #AlaskaFoodie ποΈπ₯’
