Ann Arbor Mini Guide | Must-Visit Spots & Eateries 🎒🍫

Visited my cousin during spring break — and wow, Ann Arbor is such a serene and beautiful town! The campus is huge, with a stunning mix of modern and historic architecture. I could easily wander around all day 🌳🏛️. The downtown may be small, but it’s packed with charm! 📌 Ann Arbor Downtown A cozy area you can explore in 2–3 hours. Lined with unique bookstores, thrift shops 🧥📚, and cute souvenir spots — perfect for a relaxed stroll! 📌 University of Michigan Just like in the pictures — but even prettier in person! The Law Library made me whisper “wow” 7,749 times in my head 😲✨. 📌 Comet Coffee Tucked in a semi-outdoor alley, this tiny spot is always busy — for good reason! They use the same beans as my favorite San Francisco café ☕️💕 — no wonder it’s so delicious! 📌 Hopcat A fun American-Mexican fusion joint 🌮🍔! Everything was tasty and affordable. Must-orders: the loaded nachos and the pretzel bun burger with a runny egg and hash brown — SO GOOD! 📌 Blank Slate Creamery Yummy ice cream with tons of flavors 🍦! The s’mores was a bit sweet for me, but the raspberry sorbet? Perfection! 📌 Chapala Mexican Restaurant Huge portions of classic Mexican fare — even the drinks are supersized! 🍹🌯 Great value and full of flavor. 📌 BonBonBon Chocolate An adorable pink-themed chocolate shop 🍫💖 Their signature chocolate cubes come in 30+ unique flavors, each wrapped like a mini tile (reminded me of mahjong 😂). A bit pricey at $3.99 each, but so cute! 📌 Bitty & Beau’s Cafe A heartwarming café that employs people with Down syndrome 💙🧡 Their strawberry banana smoothie is amazing, and they sell cute, affordable merch — I snagged a water bottle! 🥤 📌 M Den The official merch store for all things University of Michigan 🎓💛💙 Perfect for a day trip or a relaxed weekend — Ann Arbor stole my heart!
