Michigan Fried Chicken Showdown — Which One’s Your Favorite? 🍗🔥
Jollibee has been in Michigan for over a year, but it was just too far for me… until now! Finally got to try it — here’s my take: 📍 Address: 44945 Woodridge Dr, Sterling Heights, MI 48313 💡 Ordering Tip: They have a few combo types — Bucket Treats and Chicken Joy Meal Deal are the most popular. The Chicken Joy Meal Deal gives you the same amount of chicken 🍗, PLUS a drink, for the same price! The only catch: sides are limited to the regular options (mashed potato, gravy, rice, etc.), but honestly, the difference is minimal. So this deal = more value! 💰🥤 👅 The Chicken: So. Darn. Tender. Seriously — juicier than most American-style and Korean fried chicken I’ve tried. The crisp outside + moist inside combo is just chef’s kiss 🤤👌. 🥧 The Pies: Tried both: Peach Mango Pie: Sweet and fruity — loved it since I’m a peach/mango fan 🥭🍑. Ube Pie: Purple yam filling — not too sweet, super tasty! I bet most people would prefer this one. Heads up — they’re pretty small for $3 each, but worth a try! ✅ Final Verdict: Jollibee’s chicken is a must-try — probably the best American-style fried chicken I’ve had. Definitely worth the drive! As for Korean fried chicken — I rarely order it at restaurants, so I can’t fairly compare. Taste is subjective though — what’s YOUR favorite fried chicken spot in Michigan? Let me know — I’d love to try it next! 🗳️🍗 #Michigan #MichiganEats #DetroitFood #JollibeeMichigan #FriedChickenLover #FoodReview #AnnArborEats #SterlingHeights
