Another Celebrity Chef Lands in LA‼️ – Marlou DTLA 🧑🍳🌟

Restaurant: Marlou DTLA Address: 819 S Flower St, Los Angeles, CA 90017 Average Price: $50 per person This is one of LA’s newest Korean-Italian fusion restaurants, led by an award-winning celebrity chef 👨🍳🎖️. I made a reservation for my birthday to give it a try – the ambiance is nice, with both a bar and dining area. 🍸✨ Here’s my take on the dishes: 1. Kimchi Seafood Paella I’m a huge paella lover and always order it when it’s on the menu. Theirs is really good‼️ Way better than the ones I’ve tried in Irvine. 🥘🦐 2. Porcini E Truffle This is a black truffle pasta – decent but not outstanding. At least it wasn’t too heavy. 🍝🍄 3. Bone Marrow This dish seems to be everywhere these days. I’ve tried it at other spots and it’s always just okay – and yep, this one was mostly for the photo. 📸😅 4. Soy Glazed Lamb Chops The flavor was alright, served on a bed of spinach. But the portion… let’s just say the total amount of lamb on the plate was about the size of one chop you’d eat at home. 🐑🍖 5. Roasted Chicken Taste-wise, it was fine, but the chicken was quite dense. I personally prefer tender, juicy chicken. 🍗💔 6. Chocolate Brioche Bread Pudding Ever tried the ice cream bread from Typhoon Shelter? It’s similar, but not as good. The bread was too soggy. 🍫🍞 Parking was easy to find, and they offer valet.
