I was anticipating something semi-edible and fun but I shouldn’t have since the place is owned by a TV chef (we all know what that means). Surprisingly, Marlou’s was more of a disappointment than I expected so here I am.
While there are many words I could use to describe the “ml Favorite” lomo saltado, I’m going to say only this: manifestly dreadful. Go to Mario’s Peruvian & Seafood instead. The bone marrow gnocchi? Be prepared to drink a gallon of water all night thanks to it being drenched in salt. I am shocked how overpriced it was as well—more than Bestia which is actually decent.
