Arashiyama

Arashiyama 🌸🌺🌿🍃 Arashiyama is a vast area well worth exploring on foot for a city walk, 🌸🌺🌿🍃 with many small temples and hermitages tucked away. Here, I also came across the Zhou Enlai Memorial, 🌸🌺🌿🍃 where a kind Japanese elderly gentleman was giving free tours and spoke some Chinese. 🏞️🗣️ There seems to be a shrine dedicated to the protection of hair over there ⛩️, 🌸🌺🌿🍃 but after a glance from afar, I decided to give it a pass. It felt somewhat eerie, is it okay to say that? 🫢 🌸🌺🌿🍃 #Arashiyama
