Arenal Volcano Foot, Encountering a Volcano Yoga Journey
Arenal Volcano 🌋 Costa Rica has three treasures — volcanoes, hot springs, and tropical rainforests. The Caribbean beaches don't even make the list. I couldn't make it to the volcano crater this time due to an unhealed toe injury, so I decided to admire the volcano from afar!⛰️ Last night at 11 pm, I decided to join a one-day tour. I added the travel agency's WhatsApp and paid in cash this morning when I got on the bus. The package includes lunch and dinner, which is a bit pricey at 196🔪 per person. It's considered a boutique tour, with lunch being a Western meal in the jungle. The menu price is about 50 per person, and the program mainly includes volcano viewing and hot spring bathing. The tour lasts for 10 hours. My original plan was to find a coffee shop in Costa Rica and lazily sit in the city for a few days to deeply feel the local culture. Since my uncooperative injured foot hasn't fully healed, I can't hike to the volcano crater, and I can't handle several hours of intense walking in the tropical rainforest. However, I was really disappointed by yesterday's city walk, and I didn't want to stay a moment longer in the dirty and chaotic capital, San José...🦥 The good scenery is all around the outskirts. Costa Rica is truly a country surrounded by forests. On the way to La Fortuna, the scenery is beautiful, with rainforests, pastures, and forests along the way... The day tour also has shopping spots where the salesperson introduced the coffee cart culture used in Costa Rica. The tour guide is very dedicated, constantly switching between Spanish and English. My family said the day tour was quite fun. Our group also included 7 Mexicans, 3 Americans (a girl emphasized New York City), 1 Swede, and 1 Indian... During lunch, the Indian guy next to us was quite sociable, saying he was going to travel for 46 days around Latin America. I surprisingly didn't see any travel agencies in downtown San José; otherwise, it might be cheaper to book it myself. #CostaRica #Volcano #HotSprings #CostaRicaTravel #Trendsetter #CentralAmerica #TravelWithLovedOnes #MyOffTheBeatenPathTravelTips #BeautifulSceneryOnTheJourney #Yoga
