Outdoor Enthusiasts Fall in Love with This Place!

⛰️ I've unlocked another volcanic town - La Fortuna. Staying in a hotel where you can see the volcano just by opening the window, I spent my days hiking volcanoes, watching waterfalls, soaking in hot springs, and stargazing at night. Although I was only there for three days, I maximized my energy and made the most of every minute. 1️⃣ It took a 3-hour private car ride from San Jose to La Fortuna. On the way, we stopped at the rainforest's Starbucks farm, Hacienda Alsacia Starbucks Farm, for coffee, and then visited the active Poás Volcano. We also hiked the wild Cinchona Waterfall Trails, which was only two miles long but had a 1000ft descent, requiring us to use all fours in many places. 2️⃣ The next day, I checked off the three major attractions in La Fortuna like a commando. In the morning, I hiked at Mirador el Silencio in the volcanic park. In the afternoon, I visited Místico Arenal Suspension Bridges Park, where I saw many animals and crossed numerous suspension bridges. Afterwards, I went to Catarata La Fortuna to play in the waterfall and swim with little fish in the crystal-clear stream. 3️⃣ In the morning, I set off for Río Celeste, which has the bluest river and waterfall I've ever seen. It required a two-hour hike on the trail. In the evening, the guide took us to a candlelit wilderness hot spring, a very unique and romantic experience! I deliberately skipped Tabacon, thinking it was not worth the $80 per person. #CostaRica #OutdoorFun #TropicalRainforest #HikingAdventures #CostaRicaTravelGuide #ThanksgivingTravel #TravelNearUSA
