Around Boston in NH | 4.9-Rated Texas BBQ, Saving You a Plane Ticket ✈

This Thanksgiving break was truly a meat feast from start to finish. 📝 Review: This BBQ rivals what I’ve had in Texas! Chatted with other diners and learned that the pitmaster trained in Texas. The shop even has a map filled with pins from visitors who traveled far just to eat here. Rated 4.9/5 on Google. 🍗 Pork Rib - $12 My favorite! The seasoning was just right — not overly salty or sweet — letting the natural meat flavor shine. The ribs were tender but not falling apart, easily coming off the bone. We guessed it was slow-smoked to perfection. Plus, there was plenty of cartilage at the top — so good! 🥩 Prime Brisket - $17 The fatty part was incredibly flavorful. Even though I usually avoid fatty cuts, I have to admit — that melt-in-your-mouth richness was irresistible. The meat was tender yet held together well, and the lean parts were juicy and not dry at all. 🍖 Maple Blueberry Gouda Sausage / Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage - $8/link Both sausages were amazing. The blueberry cheese sausage might sound unusual, but it worked — similar to apple sausage, with a sweet-savory balance. The jalapeño version had a mild kick. Both had gooey cheese inside, a slightly crispy casing, and were perfectly seasoned. Huge links for $8! 🥓 Texas Twinkies - $5/each Jalapeños stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon, and brushed with that classic Texas sweet-savory BBQ sauce. I thought it might be weird, but it was surprisingly delicious — rich in flavor and texture. 🥩 What We Missed: Beef Cheek Barbacoa: Looked incredibly tender and aromatic. Pork Belly Burnt Ends: Resembled braised pork belly glazed with sweet-salty sauce — looked fatty and sweet, so we skipped it, but it seemed popular. Overall, we were super satisfied! Even with the hour-long drive and hour-long wait, it was totally worth it. We’ll definitely be back! 📍 603 Bar-B-Q 126 Hall St, Concord, NH 03301 #BostonWeekend #BostonFoodFun #HiddenGems #GlobalEats #BostonFoodDiscovery #BostonAreaEats
