Around Seattle | Rainier Wildflower Guide
đ Tipsoo Lake đŁ: Last time I hiked the Naches Peak Trail, I missed the wildflower season. Now that the flowers are in full bloom, I was eager to try again. But as I parked at the trailhead, I noticed Tipsoo Lake nearby was already covered in flowers. When I walked down, I found even more than I expectedâa vast, breathtaking sea of blooms đ». I circled the lake and realized the density of flowers, combined with the lake views, was more than enough for photos. No need to hike furtherâperfect for lazy souls like me đ. âïž: The most important factor for flower photos is sunlight. During the day, direct sunlight is too harsh and doesnât work well for photos of people or scenery. Thatâs why I chose to come in the evening, and it paid off! Sunset is around 8:30 PM now, and after 8:00 PM, thereâs almost no direct sunlight. I arrived around 7:00 PM when the light was soft, filtering through the trees and casting beautiful shadows over the flower fields. Many photographers were there with clientsâevening light is truly magical đ€©. #SeattleWeekend #SeattleDayTrip #SeattleLife #SeattleTravel #Rainier #RainierGuide #SeattleRainier
