201 18th St NW, Washington, DC 20006, United States It’s about an 18-minute walk from Farragut West Metro Station 🚶♀️; the museum’s entrance is quite small and easy to miss! 🚪 Once inside, you’ll need to sign in a guestbook with your name, number of visitors, arrival time, and departure time. ✍️📒 The spiral staircase between the ground floor and the second floor is absolutely beautiful! ✨ Walking on it feels so calming—like stepping into a scene from Cereal magazine. 🌀📸 The museum has only two floors, and each is pretty compact—almost feels like a converted townhouse! 🏠 The collection seems to focus heavily on Pop Art and Postmodernism. 🖼️ The corridor on the first floor has a subtle Eastern aesthetic that adds a unique vibe. 🎎 But wait—one room on the second floor totally caught me off guard! 😱 The space was filled with paper-folded crabs hanging from the ceiling 🦀, circular stones placed carefully on the floor, and speakers quietly playing the sound of ocean waves 🌊… It was powerful spatial art—but honestly, I got spooked and left before reading the introduction! 🙈 No idea why it felt so eerie!
