As Beautiful as an Oil Painting

As Beautiful as an Oil Painting | A Hidden Gem Town Near Boston - Rockport! Who can relate? After staying in Boston for a long time, I always want to take an impromptu short escape. The town of Rockport I discovered this time is absolutely full of "healing vibes"—every view here looks like it’s straight out of an oil painting. Coming here to relax on the weekend is truly amazing! 🥹 It takes about an hour to drive from downtown Boston to Rockport. Along the way, watching the city’s tall buildings gradually turn into suburban green trees and low-rise cottages, my mood slowly lightened up bit by bit! I was instantly stunned as soon as I entered the town. Colorful wooden houses line the streets—some have flowers blooming at the door, some have cute little decorations on the windowsills. The sun shines on the roofs, even the shadows exude a gentle feeling. Just stand on a street corner and take a photo, and it’s like having an oil painting filter automatically applied; there’s no need to deliberately find a good angle at all! 🖼️ While wandering around, a friend recommended a super famous open-air seaside bistro to me—Restaurant by the Sea. Just the name alone paints such a vivid picture! When I followed the navigation to get there, I was surprised to find it was actually tucked away on a small cliff. As soon as I walked to the restaurant’s entrance, the view in front of me made me can’t help but exclaim "wow"! 🌊 The restaurant’s seats are all open-air, facing the endless sea. The blue sea merges with the sky, and occasionally a few small boats glide slowly in the distance. The sea breeze blows gently, carrying a hint of the sea’s salty aroma—it’s so comfortable that you just want to sigh in contentment! #RockportRockportFood #RockportTown #Boston #BostonSurroundings #BostonDayTrips #BostonAreaFood #BostonAreaActivities #SeasidePhotography #SeasideRestaurant
