🍝 Aspen's Hidden Gem Italian Restaurant | Ellina
Heehee, finally getting around to posting this—procrastinator at heart 😅 Sharing this super hidden gem of an Italian restaurant I found in Aspen (I literally almost cried because I thought I wouldn’t get a table lol 😭). Dining in Aspen during ski season is no joke—so hard to get reservations! But anyway, I made it, and OMG it was absolutely mind-blowing!! 🤯 🐙 Mediterranean Octopus: SO GOOD!! The sauce was uniquely delicious—had a hint of Sichuan chili oil! Super fragrant!! 🌶️ 🦑 Calamari Fritti: Pretty sure this also had chili oil haha. You can tell the chef loves Sichuan flavors! Way more aromatic and less heavy than traditional tartar sauce. 🥗 Artichoke Heart Bruschetta: Ordered for the black truffle on top—really tasty! The only veggie dish we got lol 🥬 🍲 French Onion Soup: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The cheese was perfectly melted into the onion soup—so rich and comforting!!! Regret not ordering two bowls 😫 🐟 Scottish Salmon: The sauce was amazing!! But the best part was the fried multigrain rice on the side—so fragrant and yummy! 🍝 Gnochetti Gamberi: The shrimp was super tender!! Super garlicky and delicious!! 💡 We also tried two other dishes: one pasta was the daily special (would recommend asking your server—it had sausage and mushrooms, and it was THE BEST dish of the night!!). The other was a creamy bean soup (not on the menu anymore, but you can show the pic and ask!). 📍 Address: Ellina 430 E Hyman Ave Downstairs, Aspen, CO 81611 #ItalianCuisine #DenverFood #VibeRestaurant #HiddenGem #FoodieAdventures #Aspen #AspenFood #AspenTravel #Colorado 🌲🍴
