Ate the cheesecake of my life in DC 🤲🏻
🤤 The portion size at this restaurant is really big… the server warned us right away that one dish is meant for 3-4 people, which was quite shocking. But, to be honest, I think it’s just about the quantity; the taste is pretty average. I ordered the shrimp pasta and mussels, and they were just not bad, not great. I feel like you could find better food at just about any other place in DC. 🤤 Definitely don’t order a pasta dish for just one person; it’s suitable for at least two or three people to share. The same goes for the appetizers. 🤤 But! The cheesecake is really delicious!!! It’s the kind of dessert I would go back specifically to get more of. It’s actually reminiscent of Basque cheesecake, with a creamy center when you cut into it, and it’s not too sweet. Definitely worth a try! In a food desert like DC, this is really a breath of fresh air. From now on, The Cheesecake Factory is just a passerby. Too bad I forgot to bring the birthday card with stars.
