Athens | Who hasn’t tried the best brunch in Greece yet?
Recommended by locals with a 4.7 high score. 🌟👍 I really miss this soft and glutinous pita bread when I leave Athens! As a national food of Greece, it’s a bit like our roujiamo (Chinese meat sandwich)! But it’s softer than roujiamo, with the aroma of bread! Who would have thought that it’s so affordable and delicious in Greece itself? The average price is 4 euros each! 🌯 CHICKEN SISLIK PITA I prefer the texture of the pita bread when it’s hot because it’s so soft and addictive. The pita bread is like the homemade pan-fried bread in China, but with a sweet taste. The sour cream and chive sauce is quite unique and appetizing in Athens’ Mediterranean climate. If you don’t like the texture of chicken breast, you might not enjoy this, but the chicken breast is not dry at all! 🌯 SMASHED BURGER PITA This is similar to a beef patty in a burger, but the beef patty here is more flavorful and juicy. Paired with pickles, tomatoes, and Greek Cheddar cheese, it really gives you the feeling of eating a burger in Greece! Topped with Greek aioli sauce (I haven’t had this sauce in other countries). 🥤 ICE PEACH TEA Almost every restaurant in Greece has this drink! Of course, British people also enjoy Marks & Spencer’s iced peach tea (but the Greek version is better, just order it blindly! #GlobalEatingSquad #EastWestCuisine #brunch #IrresistibleExoticFoods #GreekTravel #UK #AthensRestaurant #Zakynthos #EuropeanRestaurant #brunch
