ATL|Authentic Sichuan Food: Big Portions, Great Prices! 🌶️🔥

📍 Chili Spot 2180 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth, GA 30096 After seeing so many raves on Xiaohongshu, I gathered a group to try this spot right after the holidays—and wow, what a feast! 🎉🍽️ On a chilly day, nothing beats fiery Sichuan dishes. We ordered almost everything we wanted to try, and the portion sizes truly surprised us—HUGE and satisfying! 😲🥘 The "Ben Ben Beef" arrived sizzling in a massive pot—tender beef with a hint of cumin, and every veggie inside was fully infused with flavor. 🐄🌿 The "Boiling Fish" was the spiciest dish on our table (made with sea bass—tender and fresh!). It’s intensely hot but not numbing, a must-order for spice lovers! 🌶️🐟 Both these large-format dishes were around $36, which felt very fair for the amount. We also enjoyed the "Pidan Lei Chili" (a Hunan-style mashed chili with preserved egg)—not too spicy but perfect with rice. 🍚💚 Two desserts stood out: the papaya milk pudding (only $9, loved by all the ladies!) and handmade sticky rice cakes—chewy, fragrant, and clearly made from scratch. 🍮🍡 For noodles, we tried the cold noodles and dan dan noodles—both slightly sweet and mildly spicy, with great texture. I preferred the cold noodles! 🍜😋 Next time, I’m eyeing the "Mao Xue Wang" (blood and offal stew)—only around $20, possibly the most affordable version in Atlanta! Also curious about their fish-fragrant pork shreds. 🐖✨ They’re running a promotion until the end of the month: deposit $200 for a 10% discount—pretty sweet deal! 🎊💰 #SichuanFood #ChineseCuisine #AtlantaEats #SpicyLovers #BigPortions #AffordableEats #DuluthFood #FoodieFeast #HandmadeDesserts #ChiliSpot
