ATL Eats: Buffet Review

Restaurant: Gohan AYCE Buffet 🍽️ Tried this spot over the weekend—posting a bit late, but here are my thoughts! Taste: Honestly, it was better than expected! 😲 I’d seen mixed reviews online, but I believe in trying things myself—and I’m glad I did! The roasted duck was a standout—juicy and flavorful. 🦆 The salmon and surf clams were fresh and tasty too. A few downsides: the crayfish were just okay, and most rice dishes leaned salty, so keep your water glass handy! 💧 Drinks were another story—I tried the Thai tea, taro milk tea, and a colorful citrusy drink… and wow, each was super sweet! 😂 How do they make every drink a sugar bomb? Dessert options were limited, and I didn’t get to try the ice cream this time. Ambiance: The space feels upscale and spacious, especially near the entrance. There’s seating for waiting—which was much needed since we waited almost an hour to get in on the weekend! 🕐 Service: Typical buffet service—plates were cleared promptly. However, sashimi refills were slow, and I never managed to grab oysters—they were out from start to finish. 🦪 Price & Final Thoughts: Weekend lunch runs about $43 per person. With a wide variety of food and drinks, it’s actually a decent deal! I’ve tried another AYCE farther away, and this one tops it. If I’m craving buffet again, I’d likely choose Gohan! ✅ #AtlantaEats #BuffetTime #GohanBuffet #AYCE #SeafoodBuffet #AtlantaFoodie #WeekendEats #FoodReview #EatAllYouCan #AsianBuffet #DuckLover
