ATL Eats: Hot Pot & Skewers
Restaurant: Nice to meet you 🍢 Always noticed this place under renovation, and today it finally opened—just in time to check it out! Currently offering 50% off soup bases. Taste: We went for a dual-flavor pot: beef tallow + tomato 🍅. The tomato broth was pretty good—rich and tangy. The beef tallow broth was very spicy (I didn’t try, but my friend said it leaned salty). From the skewers: squid sausage and thousand-layer tofu were favorites! 🦑 From the menu: tender beef and spicy beef tongue were tasty and well-marinated. The sauce bar costs ~$3 per person and includes a nice variety—the spicy clams and chicken feet were great, and the beef cubes were flavorful but quite chewy (not for sensitive teeth!). The watermelon was unexpectedly sweet—I had three small plates! 🍉 Ambiance & Service: Good ventilation above the pots—clothes didn’t smell afterward. However, the A/C wasn’t very strong, so it got warmer as we ate. ❄️→🌡️ Service was attentive and prompt. We even packed the leftover broth and ingredients—felt like a second meal for tomorrow! 📦 Final Thoughts: A bit on the pricier side (receipt attached for reference), but the quality and option to take leftovers home make it worthwhile. Worth a try, especially with the soup base discount! #AtlantaEats #HotPot #Skewers #NiceToMeetYou #ChineseHotPot #AtlantaFoodie #NewRestaurant #FoodReview #SpicyFood #LeftoverFriendly #WorthATry
