ATL Fun: Strawberry Picking Adventure

Location: Southern Belle Farm 🍓 It's that time of year again—strawberry picking season is here! We headed back to Southern Belle Farm for our annual berry adventure, but sadly, this year’s strawberries left us a little disappointed. 😕 Whether it’s a change in variety or just an off season, the berries looked big and bright red… but tasted surprisingly bland—almost like crunchy water radishes! 🤷‍♀️ Yet another letdown from American strawberries—they broke our hearts (and taste buds) once again. 💔 But not all was lost! The strawberry ice cream shake at the farm shop was an absolute lifesaver—creamy, sweet, and packed with real berry flavor. It’s a must-try if you visit! 🍦✨ Despite the berry blues, the farm itself remains a lovely weekend escape. The fields are spacious and well-kept, perfect for a sunny stroll and some cute photos. 📸 They also offer other fun activities like wagon rides and a petting zoo, making it a nice family-friendly outing. If you’re planning a trip, maybe temper your expectations for super-sweet strawberries this season—but definitely don’t skip that shake! And who knows?
