ATL Omakase Review | Mujō

Celebrated Christmas with a visit to Mujō! 🎄✨ The interior is absolutely stunning — a beautifully designed space with truly intimate omakase vibes. Unfortunately, the sushi itself felt like it had room for improvement. The highlight of the whole meal was actually dessert: 🍨 Caramel sesame ice cream with fried sweet potato — so delicious I could’ve easily had a second bowl! 🤍 When it came to the sushi courses, though, it was a bit of a letdown. A few pieces had a noticeable fishy taste, and the wasabi was quite heavy-handed — strong enough to make me frown with every bite. 😖🍣 Our chef also seemed a little inexperienced — at one point, one guest was completely missed when a dish was being served. The portion size felt smaller than expected too, with only about 12 courses in total. Usually after an omakase, I’m completely satisfied, but this time I left still hungry… so much so that I ended up ordering McDonald’s delivery afterward! 🍔😂 If you’re looking for ambiance and a unique dessert, Mujō delivers — but for the sushi experience itself, there might be better options in Atlanta. #AtlantaEats #Omakase #SushiReview #FineDining #FoodieDiary #ATLFoodScene
