Atl Persian Food - Rumi’s
When it comes to Persian cuisine in Atlanta, Rumi’s is often named among the top—and after my visit, I completely understand why! 🏆🌿 Let’s start with the star appetizer: Labne with Charred Tomato. The creamy, tangy yogurt spread paired with smoky, blistered tomatoes is already heavenly—but the sprinkle of lemon salt truly elevates it. That bright, zesty finish makes each bite refreshing and deeply flavorful. It’s a simple dish executed perfectly! 🍅🍋✨ As a dedicated salad lover 🥗, I decided to swap the usual kabob rice with the Spinach Date Salad. What a delightful choice! The salad comes packed with fresh spinach, crunchy sliced almonds, and sweet, chewy dates. The date dressing is the real standout—rich, naturally sweet, and almost dessert-like. With the toasted almonds adding a nutty texture, this salad felt indulgent yet wholesome, like a “healthy dessert” in the middle of the meal. 😋🍯 Of course, the kebabs here are tender and well-seasoned, cooked over an open flame for that authentic char. But what makes Rumi’s special is how each component—from the dips to the salads to the mains—complements the next. The space itself is warm and inviting, adorned with subtle Middle Eastern touches that create a cozy dining atmosphere. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Persian food or trying it for the first time, Rumi’s offers a flavorful, satisfying experience. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu—and to enjoy that labne and salad again! 🙌🌯🍽️ #Atlanta #PersianFood #Foodie #SaladLover #Rumis #EatLikeAKing
