Atlanta, GA Travel Guide 🍑 Must-See Spots + Food Recs

【📸 Attractions】 ✅ Atlanta Botanical Garden 📍 ~$30 | 9AM–7PM 🌿 Huge garden with beautiful bridges, streams, and boardwalks. Recently featured an Alice in Wonderland theme! Even rainy days are cozy and pleasant. ✅ World of Coca-Cola 📍 ~$22 | 10AM–6PM/7PM 🥤 A must for Coke lovers! Taste Coke flavors from around the world—China’s tastes like sour plum drink 😂 The souvenir designs are fun (but the tasting area is sticky from all the soda spills, lol). ✅ Georgia Aquarium 📍 ~$47.99 (cheaper if booked early) | 9AM–9PM 🦦 One of the largest aquariums in the U.S.! Feels like an amusement park with scheduled shows. Book sea lion and dolphin shows in advance! ✅ Centennial Olympic Park 🌟 A downtown landmark near Coke World and the aquarium. Perfect for a relaxing stroll 🎡 ✅ Georgia Tech 🎓 Drove through campus and grabbed a fridge magnet from the bookstore. ✅ Emory University 🎓 Their bookstore was closed on weekends, but there’s a small museum—free entry with any student ID! ✅ Ponce City Market 🍽 Food hall + trendy shops in a retro-industrial space. Rooftop Skyline Park requires a ticket (didn’t go, but heard it’s fun!). ✅ Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum 📍 Discounted student tickets | 9:30AM–3PM ✍️ Learn about his life and legacy. 【📸 Planned but Skipped】 ⭐ Stone Mountain ⛰️ Hike or take a cable car for amazing views. Check the website for events/fireworks! ⭐ Zoo Atlanta 🐼 Has pandas! Skipped since I’ve seen them in DC. ⭐ Atlanta History Center 📚 ~$27, great for history buffs. ⭐ Margaret Mitchell House 🎞️ ~$18.5, home of Gone With the Wind author. ⭐ Delta Flight Museum ✈️ ~$20, near the airport. Check hours before going! 💫 Chattanooga Day Trip: Incline Railway / Ruby Falls / Rock Garden 🚡 Worth visiting if you have a car, but the scenic railway was under maintenance due to wildfires. 【🍽 Food Recommendations】 🍚 3 Chinese spots near Midtown 🥪 Ponce City Market food hall 🐷 Korean food in Duluth (~30 mins from downtown)—so many options! Pair with boba from Foor Good Tea 🧋 🍗 Fried chicken & fast food—skipped Varsity (cheap but meh). #Atlanta #TravelGuide #ATLtravel #ATLfood
