📸 Atlanta: Walking Dead Filming Locations Tour 🧟‍♂️

As a die-hard fan of The Walking Dead, visiting Atlanta—where the story began—felt like a pilgrimage. Standing in the very spots where Rick Grimes rode his horse through abandoned streets and where Glenn saved Rick in that unforgettable tank scene gave me all the feels. 🖤✨ From the iconic Jackson Street Bridge (that skyline shot! 🌆) to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention building (which actually played itself in Season 1!), walking through these locations brought the apocalypse to life—minus the walkers, thankfully. 😅 I even stopped by the hospital where Rick woke up from his coma—though it’s actually the Atlanta Metro State Hospital in real life. So surreal to see these places with my own eyes after years of watching the series. Rick, Glenn, Maggie, Daryl, Carol… I miss you all. 🧟‍♀️❤️ This city will always be the heart of the TWD universe. If you’re a fan, this is a must-do. Bring your camera, your love for the series, and maybe a friend who won’t mind you geeking out at every corner. 🎬📸 #Atlanta #TheWalkingDead #TWD #FilmingLocations #FanPilgrimage #WalkerSightings #GeorgiaOnScreen #TVTravel #ApocalypticVibes
