Atlanta|A Pioneer in Omakase, Now a Michelin-Starred Gem 🌟
This omakase has been in Atlanta since I first moved here years ago. I’ve watched it grow step by step, and now it proudly holds a Michelin star. The chef is wonderfully creative and passionate, constantly elevating the dining experience. 🍶 Highlights of the Night: Ankimo (Monkfish Liver): Rich and smooth, like the foie gras of Japanese cuisine—set the bar high from the start. Hotate + Corn Potage: A surprising and delightful combo—sweet scallop paired with creamy corn soup. A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Sukiyaki: Tender and flavorful, reminiscent of a delicate sukiyaki. Sake Pairing: Highly recommended! Thoughtfully curated and perfectly matched. 🍣 Sushi Section – Absolutely Stellar! The menu even notes origins—such a nice touch. Kawahagi (Ehime): Refreshing and bouncy, especially with liver dip. Shima Aji (Tokushima): Clean umami that deepens as you chew. Kegani Hairy Crab (Hokkaido): Unbelievably sweet—eyes-closed good! Akami → Chutoro → Otoro (Kyushu/Tsushima): A gradual, satisfying richness. Anago (Tsushima): Soft, sweet, and delicate. Tamago: Dessert-like egg omelet, a sweet and savory finish. 🍵 Perfect Ending: Matcha mousse cake with raspberry—light, refreshing, and the ideal close to the meal. 📍 Omakase Table 3330 Piedmont Rd NE #22A, Atlanta, GA 30305 #Atlanta #ATL #Omakase #MichelinStar #JapaneseCuisine #FineDining #ChefExperience #SushiLovers #AtlantaEats #FoodArt
