Atlanta|Discovering Sweet & Savory Gems in Johns Creek 🍰🍛
Today’s food adventure led us to Johns Creek, where we stumbled upon a delightful bakery serving Japanese-style soufflé pancakes—and they were absolutely delicious! We tried the matcha soufflé pancake from C’EST LA VIE BAKERY & CAFE, and it was a beautiful surprise. Not too sweet, with a creamy matcha topping that carried a pleasant, authentic bitterness—so refreshing and well-balanced! 🍵💚 Right next door, we also discovered Kanpeki Tonkatsu, a Japanese fried cutlet spot that’s truly worth the visit. Their cabbage salad is served with a unique ranch-and-black-sesame dressing—and yes, it’s bottomless! 🥗✨ We ordered the fried pork cutlet and the chicken katsu curry—both were perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and full of flavor. Already wishing we had added a soft egg on top! 🍳🍛 Next time, we’re planning the perfect combo: a savory meal at Kanpeki Tonkatsu, followed by fluffy soufflé pancakes next door. Sweet and savory dreams do come true! If you’re in Johns Creek and craving something warm, crispy, fluffy, or gently sweet—this little corner has you covered. 📍 C’est La Vie Bakery & Cafe 📍 Kanpeki Tonkatsu (Check maps for exact addresses in Johns Creek!) #AtlantaEats #JohnsCreekFood #JapaneseFood #SoufflePancake #MatchaDessert #Tonkatsu #AtlantaBakeries #AtlantaFoodie #FoodDiscovery #SweetAndSavory #AtlantaCafes #JapaneseCurry #HiddenGems #EatLocalATL #WeekendEats
