Atlanta|Found a High-Quality & Affordable Japanese Spot! 🍣✨
Just discovered Fudo, a new Japanese restaurant in Downtown Chamblee’s Parkview area—great value, fresh ingredients, and definitely worth recommending! 🏮 The space features a bar upfront with creative cocktails, a sushi bar, and both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose indoors since outdoor seating had a 30-minute wait. Even on a weekday evening, the place was buzzing—imagine weekends! Make a reservation if you visit on holidays or weekends. 📞 Our meal averaged $28 per person (including tip)—I definitely over-ordered but no regrets! 😅 What we tried: ✅ Assorted Tempura ($12) – light and crispy, though portion was modest. ⭐⭐⭐ ✅ Shumai ($7) – soft, bouncy, with tasty dipping sauce. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅ Spicy Tuna on the Rock ($12) – crispy rice with spicy tuna. Good if you’ve never tried it, but I’ve had better elsewhere. ⭐⭐ ✅ A Star is Born Roll ($17) – flavorful, more American-style than traditional. ⭐⭐⭐ ✅ California Roll ($7) – simple but fine. ⭐⭐ ✅ X-Men Roll ($14) – topped with fresh roe, a must-order! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅ Gyu-Don ($18) – marinated short ribs with kimchi and arugula. Delicious and satisfying. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅ Kaisen-Don ($10) – essentially a fresh poke bowl. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅ Earl Grey Crème Brûlée ($9) – rich tea flavor, silky texture, perfect to share. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for hanging out with friends over drinks and small plates. They have a TV for sports, though kid options are limited. I’ll be back—still need to try their Lychee Martini! 🍸 🍴 Fudo 📍 5070 Peachtree Blvd Ste A100, Chamblee, GA 30341 #AtlantaEats #JapaneseFood #SushiLover #ChambleeDining #AffordableEats #FoodieFind #DateNightSpot 🥢🍱
