After my last soy crab post, a follower mentioned that Mega Mart sells fresh marinated crab. I rushed over the next day, but the auntie at the counter said they were sold out. She quietly told me: "Come Friday at 11 AM — that’s when we get the fresh batch." 🗓️👵 She said it’s way better than frozen, and they also have yangnyeom gejang (spicy marinated crab)! The price is higher though: $24.99/lb. My three crabs came to $57.09. Verdict: Fresh, flavorful, and totally worth it — though sadly, no crab roe inside 😢.
