Atlanta|New Korean Tofu Soup Spot – Fresh & Hearty! 🍲✨

Came across 88 Tofu last month — it’s in the old Duluth Hi Pot location, across from Feng Cha. Went in with low expectations (So Kong Dong is usually my go-to), but I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the mixed tofu soup (seafood + beef), and wow — the portion was generous! Usually “mixed” means 1–2 shrimp and a few clams, but here I got 7–8 clams, octopus, shrimp, and more. So satisfying! 😋 🥟 Dumplings were also huge and tasty. 🥬 Banchan (side dishes) were delicious — the server noticed we kept finishing them and kindly offered refills multiple times. 🫶 New spots often have great service and consistent quality — hope they keep it up! They also have braised short ribs on the menu — if you try it, let me know how it is! Fun note: The Chinese translations on the menu are… creative 😂 “Stir-fried glass noodles” became ” and “spicy rice cakes” turned into ” (Good luck!). A solid weekend comfort meal option for warm, flavorful tofu soup lovers. 📍 88 Tofu (Duluth Hi Pot’s former spot, across from Feng Cha) #AtlantaEats #KoreanFood #TofuSoup #88Tofu #DuluthEats #ComfortFood #GenerousPortions #NewInTown #ATLFoodScene #MustTry #SoupSeason
