Atlanta's Most Authentic Budae Jjigae!

This place has been serving budae jjigae in Atlanta for years, and I truly believe it’s the most authentic Korean army stew in the city. 🍲 It’s just too far from my home, otherwise I’d come all the time—especially now that the weather is getting colder. There’s nothing more comforting than a hot, bubbling pot that warms you up from the inside out. ❄️🔥 We ordered the regular pot for two and added extra ramyeon (instant noodles), rice cakes, and tofu. 👌 (Note: the stew already comes with rice cakes included!) The meal is also served with crispy scorched-rice (nurungji) on the side. Once you’ve enjoyed most of the stew, you can pour in roasted barley tea to make a delicious savory rice tea soup—it’s the perfect way to finish the meal! 🍚🍵 We also tried the spicy stir-fried baby octopus, which was flavorful and delicious—great for sharing! 🐙🌶️ If you’re in Atlanta and craving hearty, authentic Korean comfort food, this is definitely the spot to visit.
