Atlanta | "New American" Dining at GunShow

Last week, a few friends and I visited GunShow—a spot we’d been curious about for a while—to use the Amex Platinum Resy credit. 💳✨ In short: the food was decent in our opinion, but the experience itself was truly unique and memorable! 🎩🍽️ The format here is interactive and fun: chefs circulate through the dining room with freshly prepared dishes, present each one at your table, and you decide on the spot whether you'd like to keep it. 🧑🍳👌 Portions are tapas-style—small, meant for sharing, usually just a bite or two per person. Since it was our first time, we tried almost everything that came by! For dishes we loved, we ordered two servings; for others, just one to share. 🥢❤️ Highlights for our table included: 🍦 Uni Ice Cream (rich, creamy, and unexpectedly delicious) 🍤 Fried Eel (crispy and flavorful) 🥩 Pork Dish (tender and well-seasoned) The drink service was also a show in itself—several cocktails were prepared tableside with flair, adding to the visual appeal of the night. 🍸👀 The real standout, though, was dessert—both options we tried (pictured) were beautifully crafted and deliciously satisfying. 🍰💫 Pricing landed around $100 per person since we sampled widely. If you’re selective, you could aim for $60–$80, though whether you leave fully satisfied might vary.
