Atlanta | Back to Haru Ichiban – Hooked on Their Fried Oysters! 🍤✨
It’s been a while since we visited Haru Ichiban, and during a recent lunch with friends, we learned that the restaurant has changed ownership a few times—now run by Korean owners, with an almost entirely new staff. The flavors have shifted slightly toward a more Americanized style. 🦪 Fried Oysters were the highlight—crispy on the outside, juicy inside. We enjoyed them so much we ordered a second plate! 😋 🍣 Sashimi was fresh and tasty, though the sushi rolls could have been packed a bit tighter. 🦀 Soft-shell crab was decent but not as crispy as hoped. 🐙 Takoyaki portions were generous, though lacking some crunch. 🍵 Complimentary hot tea and a fresh garden salad were nice touches! Note: Lunch and dinner menus differ in portion size and price. You can order from the dinner menu at lunch, but the lunch specials offer better value without skimping on quantity. Overall, while the cooking style felt slightly less refined than before, ingredient freshness remains a strong point. Worth revisiting, especially for those oysters! 🍴 Haru Ichiban 📍 3646 Satellite Blvd, Duluth, GA 30096 #AtlantaEats #JapaneseFood #SushiLover #FriedOysters #FoodieUpdate #LunchSpecial #AtlantaFoodGuide 🍱🥢
