Atlanta | Delicious Italian Eatery – North Italia

A friend recommended North Italia, and I’m so glad I tried it—it’s truly delicious! 😋 I later discovered it's actually a popular national chain with locations in many states. Atlanta currently has two branches, and the Dunwoody one I visited is fairly new. 🏙️✨ We ordered the crispy calamari, glazed short rib cavatelli, and chicken pesto pasta. The fried calamari was a bit on the oily side for my taste—even though it was thoughtfully served with a plate of fresh greens, it still felt a little heavy. 🦑😅 The other two pasta dishes, though, were absolutely stellar! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tender, flavorful, and perfectly sauced. For dessert, we tried the butter cake (not pictured), served with blueberry sauce. It was pleasantly not too sweet—which, as many will agree, is the highest praise from a Chinese dessert lover when it comes to American sweets! 🍰💙 We also sampled a few dishes from their brunch menu (shown in later photos)—all were tasty and satisfying. One note: the pizza is quite rich in cheese, so if you're not a big cheese fan, you might want to proceed with caution. 🍕🧀 The only downside during both of my visits was the wait time for our food—it took a while for dishes to come out, which was a bit frustrating. ⏳🙃 Still, the overall quality and flavor made up for it. Whether you're in the mood for hearty pasta, a cozy brunch, or a not-too-sweet dessert, North Italia delivers a consistently enjoyable experience. Just be prepared for a relaxed pace! 🍝❤️ #AtlantaEats #NorthItalia #ItalianFood #PastaLovers #DunwoodyDining #FoodieFavorites #NotTooSweet #AtlantaRestaurants
