Atlanta | The Omakase Where Drinks are "Bottomless" đśâ¨
Tucked away in the heart of the city, Ishin is a relatively new omakase spot that's already redefining the dining experienceâespecially if you appreciate a good drink. As someone who enjoys pairing sushi with sake, I have to say: they've perfected the "bottomless" drink concept! Typically, omakase beverage pairings give you just a few sips per course. But here, before serving the next drink, the staff quietly checks your glassâif it's empty, they refill it without you even asking. Itâs discreet, generous, and honestly, a drink-lover's dream come true! đĽđ The meal began with a refreshing Crudo of the Dayâclean, bright, and perfectly balanced acidity that gently awakened the palate. The fish was so tender it seemed to melt on the tongue. Next came the Mushiyaki & Hoba Yaki (steamed and leaf-grilled dishes), warmly aromatic and deeply satisfying. The Hoba Yaki, in particular, carried a subtle, woody fragrance that made us pause just to savor it. The sushi progression was thoughtful and beautifully executed: ⢠Akami: Clean, straightforward umami. ⢠Tai: Crisp and subtly sweet. ⢠Kohada: Well-balanced, with a hint of brine. ⢠Shima Aji: Perfectly marbledâone of my top three of the night. ⢠Aori Ika: Tender and rich in flavor. ⢠Saba: Expertly prepared, no trace of fishiness. ⢠Uni: Sweet, creamy, and decadent. ⢠Toro: Melt-in-your-mouth luxurious. ⢠Anago: Lightly charred and wonderfully soft. We ended with a clean, refreshing dessert: Green Apple Sorbet followed by matcha and Mizu Yokanâa light, elegant finish that left us perfectly satisfied. If youâre looking for an omakase that values both refined flavors and generous spirit, Ishin is a must-visit. Just remember: pace yourselfâthe drinks may keep coming! đ đ Ishin 1020 Spring St NW ST 801, Atlanta, GA 30309 #AtlantaEats #Omakase #IshinAtlanta #SushiBar #BottomlessDrinks #JapaneseCuisine #FineDining #DateNight #AtlantaFoodie #SakeLover #PremiumDining #AtlantaRestaurants #EatDrinkRepeat #FoodExperience
