Atlanta β The Friendly Black Capital ποΈβπΎ
Spent my fall break in Atlanta this year β here are my impressions! π₯€ World of Coca-Cola A must-visit for every Coke lover! Discover stories of Coca-Cola from around the world. Loved the Olympic-themed exhibits, especially the 2008 Beijing collection π π¨π³. Ended with tasting beverages from different countries β so fun! π Georgia Tech Clean and beautiful campus π« β known for top-tier engineering programs. The view from the library rooftop overlooking the Atlanta skyline is stunning! π β² Centennial Olympic Park A large park in downtown with the famous Olympic rings sculpture β perfect for photos πΈ. Lots of history about the 1996 Atlanta Olympics displayed throughout. π Georgia Aquarium MASSIVE and totally worth it! Several huge exhibits β my favorites were the whale sharks and the penguin-like birds π§. Many zones allow up-close interactions β very engaging! π Emory University A prestigious private school β visited with a friend. Beautiful Southern-style campus (way prettier than many East Coast schools π). Great for family tours! π Other Spots: Mercedes-Benz Stadium ποΈ State Farm Arena (home of the Hawks!) π Underground Atlanta ποΈ β οΈ Note: Atlantaβs safety can be uneven β I recommend taking rideshares π. Public transit (like MARTA π) works well for downtown attractions. π Day Trips: Charming nearby towns like Helen (Bavarian-style village π©πͺ) and Savannah π are great for road trips! π Final Rating: 7.5/10 β Not a ton of major tourist sites, but a cool city with unique vibes! #Travel #Atlanta #USA #StudyAbroad #CocaCola #EmoryUniversity #Aquarium #Football
