It's definitely an experience, even if you're not a huge fan of Coke. The experience began in the theater, which I believed was supposed to be an informative video. It was an ad. An 8 minute ad. Total waste of time. The rest of the museum was pretty interesting, and some of the interactive displays were enjoyable.
There are 2 photo ops available. One when you enter the building that wasn't optional, and one with the polar bear that was optional. My favorite thing about Coke is the polar bear, so of course, I chose to have that photo taken. I knew that I'd probably have to pay for it, and figured the digital copy would be cheaper. It wasn't. $30 for the digital copies (though it does include the other photo). The selling point is how many photos you get, but what you're actually getting is the same photos in different backgrounds, which I don't think anyone really wants. To print just one photo was $25, so the digital package seems like a heck of a deal, right? It's my understanding that you can take your code and buy the photos online later, but it was impressed upon me that it might not be possible, which makes sense considering I'm pretty sure these folks do make a commission on each sale.
The best part was the tasting room, where you can try varieties of Coke products from around the world. I thought to use the restroom before exiting, but the others in my party did not. Once you leave the tasting room, you're sent into the gift shop, and once you leave, you can't go back. When we got to the gift shop, the sky opened up and it began pouring. Heavy rain and high winds. Of course none of us were prepared to walk around the block in a downpour, so clusters of guests were stuck in the gift shop waiting for the rain to slow down. The staff took full advantage of this and walked around with branded umbrellas and ponchos for purchase, which several desperate guests did end up buying just to leave the store. Those in my party that didn't use the restroom before were regretting that choice now, as they were not allowed to use the restrooms just outside the gift shop. Once the rain slowed a bit, we made a mad dash out and they had to dart across the way to the public restrooms outside the aquarium.
Long story short: $30 to get in, $30 for photos.. plus whatever you choose to spend in the gift shop.. and they won't even let you use the restroom after a certain point, despite being temporarily stuck there due to a storm. But they will sell you an umbrella and...

I’ll be honest—I wasn’t entirely sold on visiting the World of Coca-Cola at first. My travel buddy was over-the-moon excited about it, so I tagged along to be supportive. Little did I know I was about to be completely captivated by one of the most immersive, entertaining, and surprisingly emotional museum experiences I’ve had in a long time.
From the moment you step in, the World of Coca-Cola pulls you into a time capsule that spans the globe. It’s not just about the soda—it’s about the story, the movement, and the way one small pharmacy creation became a worldwide cultural icon. I was blown away by how thoughtfully the exhibits were curated. You don’t just learn about Coke; you experience its history.
One of the most touching moments came when we watched a heartwarming short film that showcased how Coke has connected people across generations and cultures. I didn’t expect to get sentimental, but there I was, eyes misty, genuinely moved by how something so simple has brought so many people together.
The walkthrough of Jacob’s Pharmacy—where the first glass of Coca-Cola was poured on May 8, 1886—was like stepping into a piece of living history. The full-size replica of the street scene, complete with period-correct storefronts, old-school restaurants, and authentic pricing, was like being transported back in time. You could practically hear the clink of glass bottles and horse-drawn carriages rolling by. I also loved the AI-generated feature that shows you what you might have looked like in 1886—such a fun, interactive twist that had everyone laughing and sharing their results.
The vintage advertisements from across the decades were fascinating. It really put into perspective how marketing and pop culture have evolved, and how Coke has stayed relevant for well over a century. The global tasting room was another highlight—where else can you take a taste tour of sodas from around the world? Some were… interesting, but I absolutely fell in love with the Fanta Celebration flavor—YUMMMM!
If you’re debating whether to go, let me just say: DO IT. Whether you’re into history, culture, marketing, or just enjoy a cold soda on a hot day, this place delivers. It’s fun, educational, and surprisingly nostalgic. I came in unsure and left genuinely impressed and inspired. And now, I’ll never look at a can of Coke the...
